One API, three engines

A single request and response shape for Exa, Parallel and Keenable. Switch models by changing a string.

Automatic fallbacks

Pass an ordered list of models. If a provider errors or times out, Mux retries on the next one and only bills the one that answered.

Spend limits per key

Issue a key per agent or customer with a USD cap that resets daily, weekly or monthly. Enforced atomically, so runaway loops can't overshoot.

Provider list prices with no per-request markup. One balance, one invoice, one place to see usage by model and key.

Simple, pass-through pricing

You pay each provider’s list price per request. When you add credits, Mux charges a 5.5% fee (minimum $0.80) to cover payment processing. Failed requests are refunded automatically.

Failed calls cost nothing

If a provider errors, you are refunded and the next fallback is tried. You only pay for the answer you got.
